Jam room/recording room questions.

I have a 13' x 15 ' room that I'm going to put Laminate flooring and was thinking about buying some 1" or 2" Acoustic foam off Ebay from a local Canadian seller.
Quote:
1" Acoustic Wedge Foam
(48) Pack of 1" x 12" x 12"
I tried making some insulation filled with insulation in the past but found it too messy and don't really want to breath in insulation fibers...can you tell me what you think of the foam insulation and my lay out for the instruments in the room. Thanks

be very careful buying foam off of ebay. Most of it up there (the cheap stuff from foam by mail and foam factory) are know fraud that will do little for your room.
