Shipping RealTraps to europe or better alternative?

Hi,

I think RealTraps look really good, but im afraid it is going to be very expensive to ship to europe.

Is there a better alternative?

Thanks!!

It costs about $100 per box to ship our traps to most places in Europe. So that's about $50 per MiniTrap, and $35 per MicroTrap.

Who do you use for your oversea shipping? We use Ceva and the best I can get is to London for around $100 per box if 4 or more boxes. Any where else in Europe it is more unless we send it by boat, which can drive it below $100, but has to be more like 8 or more boxes.

Yes. Well, it depends how you define "lots," but sales to Europe are an important part of our business.

That's about right, but we get a decent price even with only one or two boxes.

Not a weird question at all, and I'm sure you know my answer. With all that concrete I'm sure you need a lot of treatment, and especially bass trapping. Especially if you want "mastering" quality.

Damn shipping one box is about the same as shipping 2. VERY CLOSE in price most of the time. Needless to say though it sounds like we are getting about the same price.

Yes, though it's still a bunch of boxes. But the more boxes there are. the less the cost per box.

Generally, the more bass trapping you have, the flatter and tighter the room will be. You never said how big your room is so I have no idea how much $$$ you need to spend.

There's a lot of good advice here:

Hey, thanks !

The room is about 30m2, is this good size for control room/ mastering?

Its rectangular and i guess the long walls is about twice the length of the short walls,

and the one short wall has lots of windows.

The roof is wood (good?)

The rest is concrete - its a fabric building from late 1800`s

Thank you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a nice size room, and any of our Room Kits will do a great job. You can never make any room perfect, but the more bass traps you have, the closer you'll get.
