bedroom studio desk space positioning - pitched ceilings!

Hi all,

i'm about to relocate my studio space to the attic room in the house. it's quite a large space - i'll get dimensions later. the ceiling is pitched at either end of the longest dimension with a raised window set into the wall (about 1.5 feet deep) at one end and a sloping velux window at the other - these are both slightly off-centre.

this lack of symmetry might be a problem, i'm wondering, for stereo imaging - that is if i have my desk placed at either end of the longest dimension.

i would like to know if positioning the control space against one of the longer walls and therefore having the back wall closer to me would be a bad idea? it would still leave quite a lot of space behind (again, actual dimensions to come).

i'll draw a picture soon to better describe what i mean.

i've got about 8 home made rockwool traps to place around too.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
-Harry.

Post the photos first as that will help the suggestions.
