Speaker Calibration

I put this in the Mastering Forum also:

When using a SPL meter to calibrate a 5.1 speaker set-up how do you orient the meter when measuring the back speakers?

I got as far as putting the meter at a 45degree angle at approximately ear height pointing straight ahead for the front speakers but I'm not sure how to point the meter for the backs.

Thanks,

N8

What is your room like?

PS I always measure from my listening position.

Nate, I already answered this in the other forum where you asked. Point it straight up.
