Ok here I go... from the ground up

I'm building my second studio... first one was in a garage this time I'm in the designing phase and have a architect and contractor but both have never done a studio. I bought Home Recording studio building for the pros Gervais and Building a Studio on a budget and have read both twice. I have read EVERY studio building thread on the photo log page of this forum and am just trying to do this once right. I will post a rough, rough draft of the layout from an existing floorplan of the house but I know it will go through more stages.
The black square by the house is about three steps down the house is raised foundation and I will be poring a new foundation for the studio. It will be walls with-in walls like Gervais recommends cause it needs to be completely soundproof to the outside world but all that to say ANY, ANY recommendations you guys have here would be appreciated before I jump into this adventure. I'm kind of thinking of using Dolby recommended listening ratio of 0.67:1:1.55 and then my control room would be roughly H - 12'8" W - 18'8" L - 28'11"
any thoughts on these numbers?

Oh and my monitors are Dynaudio AIR 15's and the website states

Typical listening distance 1.5-2.5m / 5-8,5ft
Typical room size 75-125 m3 / 2600-4400 ft3

I was thinking
H - 12'8" W - 18'8" L - 28'11"
is this to big a room for my monitors?

Yea I may have to go smaller on the width cause I just talked to my guy who is drawing up the blue prints for me to get approved by the city and he just told me that even though my garage is built butted up against a property barrier wall, the city probably wont let me build that close. :-(
Oh this studio building thing through the city is a pita but again I want to get this right!

Oh Ethan I'm on a Mac too and cant get that calc to work..
why don't they make a Mac version of that :-(

As explained on that page, you can follow one of the eight recommended ratios shown on the screen shot.
