| Log Cabin / Summer house I am thinking of getting a summer house as the baby will be taking my studio. My girlfriends dad seems to think if I shoved rockwall inside the the cabin in between the panels and then plaster over it would that sound proof it or like I fear would it not sound proof it and the neibours go mad? the whole object of this is so I can listen to the music at a decent (not extremly loud) but not have to worry about "maggie" next door bashing the walls with a broom!! My suggestion was a room within a room Ideas please. |

| two layers of drywall should work. also an acoustic fence around the cabin might help I think the company making such stuff is ACS or amby its ASC anyways its the same company making tube traps. Im trying to find a way to block a nearby street from my studio.. There is lots of development happenign here therefore tons of free dirt. Im thinking of making a fence from rammed earth to seperate me and the street. bigos |
