Thread Starter | Help needed - designing a small studio

ceiling height around the edges will be your biggest challenge. I'd put a vocal booth near the door, where the short walls are, a live room in the middle, and the control room at the far end. I'd calculate the length of the control room so that the room has a favorable shape/dimension ratio, build the booth as big as you need, and then use the space in the middle for a live room, double-checking the ratios of the space that's left to make sure they aren't horrible.
