| Hidley Infrasound Hi all. i'm just wondering if anyone here has ever heard of Tom Hidley's infrasound approach to studio acoustics. I understand he designed a few rooms with that approach, the last one i heard about was BOP studios in south africa. Any slutz heard about this? (the infrasound design or the 'non environment' concept in general) Any info/experiance anybody has would be most welcomed. ![]() Thank you!!

| Tom Hidley is one of pioneers, if not the first in modern studio design. His rooms are controversial, expensive, and they work. Unfortunately I do not know of much on the web about "non-environment" rooms. Phillip Newell discusses the design concept extensively in Recording Studio Design. The book is expensive, but one of must haves if you serious about studio design. A wealth of information. Andre |
