where to put my mixer?

does it has to be symmetrical?

my room is 8m x 4m-

i want to put some instr. drums-rhodes-etc in the front and
the mixer in the back of the room.

here are two options

thank you for advice-

p.s: i have some absorbers and stuff to put on the sidewalls for
first reflections.
