Santorini island residential studio

Hi all

We are very excited since we started the construction of a residential recording facility on Santorini island Greece.Santorini is one of the most popular destinations worldwide.It is created by volcano eruption.You can see more info at the following link:

The facility is located on one of the most beautiful areas of the island on a land of 7000sq.m.The studio is a part of a luxury large villa.The villa has breathtaking view of the volcano,caldera an nearby islands, offering accomodation for 10 persons.Swimming pool and auxiliary areas are going to be constructed early next year.
The studio is designed by Roger D'Arcy (Recording Architecture) and will be equiped by an SSL 9080J series, pro tools, Gelenec 1035B main monitors plus a lot of outboard gear.There are also three recording spaces designed according to local architecture.
Hope to be able to show more pics next month!!
We welcome any advice.

Nice to see how the studio will lay out. BTW, for Americans, 7,000 sq m land is approx 1.73 acres.

I made some changes so i'll get the updated floorplan in two weeks.

Great studio!

I've been to Santorini (20 years ago as a back-packer).......I'll never forget the incredible views driving up the cliffs from the port.

well .. they will serve fresh grilled octopus , mezze and ice-cold ouzo !!! and after that we all go to the bazookia and throw flowers at the beautifull greek female singers :-)

EXACTLY!!! I see that you have big experience from Greece!!
For the moment a sofa will be placed because we have enough room inside the villa for all the activities!!!

Nice photos...

I don't want to play the devil's advocat here but that ceiling in the tracking room worries me a bit... maybe I'm wrong and it sounds pretty good with the treatment used
