weird room shape, need some help on monitors placement

hi all,

i want to improve the room acoustics in my room.
before doing DIY treatment i want to know where should i place my monitors with stands ( p11 +sub) and the little desk(no mixing console, full ITB) and listening position.
i need good bass/low mid response

there is only one door and some things which i can move around. windows dont care, i can cover them...

hope u can help

thanks

Put mix spot on right wall and start by sitting 38% of the room length. Here is a layout that you can go by for treatment. Your room is pretty strange, but if you bass trap it well and take care of the early reflection points you should be good to go.

Hmm...I would actually consider putting the speakers along the top wall, rather than using the usual lengthwise configuration, because you'll have a more regular shape behind you. I would close off the alcove in the upper left if I could (make it a storage closet with a heavy door). Control reflections directly on the bottom wall and you should be OK.

thanks for fast response!

i am sitting actually on the top wall.

i wanted to move from there because the left speaker have less bass at this position. but if put a heavy door there it might fix my problem.
before i build something i want to know where should i start. cant make big changes because the apartment is only rented. one wall or door think it okay.hmmmm
