Question Acoustically fixing/Shaping a room with tile floors

Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has some good input on how to make a room sound better if it has tile floors (there are lots of reflections). What kind of inexpensive absorbing carpet is good for floors and what other bass traps and things would i need.

I would leave the floor the way it is. Carpet is only going to absorb high end but leave the low end bouncing all over the room

1) Get bass traps made of oc705 or mineral wool that are 4" or more thick and straddle as many corners as possible
2) Place panels (these can be 2" thick) on early reflection points throughout your room (left/right wall and ceiling)
3) Depending on room size diffusion would also be of benefit.

You may want to list your room size, layout and or pictures so we can see what you have going on.

Everything you need is right here:

Acoustic Treatment and Design for Recording Studios and Listening Rooms

It's a fair amount to read, but it's all important.
