Help me build my studio...

Ok. So I'm going to have about $6,000 to build a studio with. This is compensation for the one that burned down. So far I plan on purchasing:

Allen & Heath GL2400 (24 ch) for front end: Like the Midas but too pricey

RME Multiface II

~ $800 for a new recording computer

Shure SM7

AKG 414

after that... Who knows. So what I'm looking for are comments on what I have listed (100% on analog console) and what you would do to round it out. I do alot of hip-hop but I want to be able to do drums and other regular tracking duties also. Sound quality of the preamps are my main concern with a board followed by direct outs with at least a 4 bus. So any suggestions?

Gear To Buy

With 6000 to spend I'd Say The Allen Heath would work I thought a Midas Venic sounded great for the price point, just wished the faders were 100m faders routing was more flexible. also the RME has only 8 outs. Are you planing on mixing on the console or in the box? What about Monitors? tell me more
