heres a song I'm working on. I'm trying to write lyrics for it and i have not eq'd or compressed much. let me know your thoughts on it, and if anyone would be up to the challenge of writing words i would be more then happy to hear/ read them, and i would give credit when the cd come out.
This is very rough, still tracking. I wrote the song and recorded it performing the instruments, i dont have lyrics or a singer yet so iam phonetically singing the vocal melody as ive already got the melody i want. Its a bit depressing, a night time song. Still havent added more instruments yet to make the song, so its rather bare, but the idea and mood is there. I have over 100 like this, i just cant write lyrics or sing, so if you like it and you live in brisbane australia, give us a bell!!

That has great potential and feel, with the right singer and words it will be knockout Good luck! Plus to say its not eq d or compressed much it sounds pretty much there to me.
Haven't been on this thread in ages : ) A little something I recorded after experimenting with alternate tuning a little. Pretty standard stuff but once again I have 'fear of finishing anything syndrome,' but heck, Im only 16, plenty of time!
This is really good! I love the energy of it, ok its raw but it works for me. Keep it up! When the time is right you will finish tons of stuff.... Check out this guy you might like

OMG I love that track I would buy a whole album worth of songs that calibre. Ive no critique to make of it as im just listening as a member of the public would rather than critically. Love the feel of it. On 4th listen now. Thanks for this
I pretty much consider all of the stuff I do to be a rough demo. It's too much work to do a finished project by yourself, but here are a few demos I've done within the last year or so. I haven't done anything lately.

Alright I tried embedding this three times hopefully this works or I give up. Cell phone camera good mic and some compression...it is complete with out of time jacket buttons hitting the guitar during the bridge....or maybe it was the guitar playing that was out of time...oh well

Here is my new song. I'm working on it now, so it's rough mix without voc. I want to know about your feelings and your opinion about that.
Here's a super rough demo of a kind of Al-Green-meets-Adele song I've been working on over the weekend. Kind of like it so far -- needs a better lyrical hook mostly.
Here are some demo's me and my writing partner have done so far for placements in TV and Film, now just have to head into the studio and track them for the TV stuff they will be in.
Let me know what you guys think! (Specifically production wise, recording quality, etc...) First track was mixed through a Neve.

All are being prepped for a full band album so they're definitely rough. Plus I'm not much of a mixer right now so bear with my limited or lack of skills. This is mostly about the songs.
