Funniest music vid of the year

I gotta give props to Justin Timberlake, last Saturday's SNL was one of the funniest in a long time, and this music video is priceless:

Haha, that song is really catchy too. For a newer R&B sound, that groove and the chord changes are pretty tight. The melody's catchy as hell.

No prob.

Looks like they went back and censored the version in the original link. The uncensored one is up here for the moment:

Damn. I tried to give two of these this year. Didn't get rid of the lipstick in time, and really pissed off the second lady. Shoulda had better instructions.

Been walking around singing "D*ck in a box!" My client think I'm talking about the guy in the iso booth.

Happy Holidays, SLUTZ!

You clearly missed the 3-step instructional portion of the video.

What, a pair of scissors? Or an empty box with scissors inside? Be careful with those scissors, and be sure to cut ONLY the box.

I dunno, I feel like this is the typical mook humor that SNL seems obsessed with creating now a days. Its really the same joke over and over again...

I stopped watching SNL and most TV in the late 70s - but thought this was quite amusingly over the top. Curious what you see as typical, since I have seen none of it except the Ashlee debacle and this one since the late great days of the 1970s... I miss Belushi and the sushi ninja.

What mean "mook?" I see this:

Mook is a slang term with several different meanings.
The term mook or jamook is Italian American slang for an annoying, stupid, undesirable person. Often simply meaning that the person is contemptible or below your consideration. The term Mook sparks a brawl in Martin Scorsese's film Mean Streets. In some cases, "mook" can refer to a nondescript, unspecial person, such as "some mook from the block."
"Mook" is the Japanese publishing industry's generic name for quarterly or irregularly published large-format softcover publications having more pages than a typical magazine, yet less pages than a proper book. Examples from the automotive field include News Publishing Company's [1] HyperRev series [2] and Mazda Miata Roadster-specific Road&Ster [3].
Mook was an Engrish contraction of the English words for a movie and book and were reference books for popular animation and film in Japan. The mooks themselves were often collections of color stills or screenshots taken directly from the movie or TV series, with additional material such as character and mechanical design sketches, fan art, and technical text from the creators included in black and white. The term mook was a fairly common description for these types of books during the 1980s, but, while the reference books are still being published, the term has now fallen into disuse as English becomes more prevalent in Asia, although the term has resurfaced a few times in recent years.
Mook is an advertising industry term for an 'in your face' person (e.g., Tom Green, the cast of the TV show jackass or the characters in the cartoon South Park). [4]
Mook or to Mook is British slang, referring to looking at someone desirable. E.g I was mooking a pretty girl last night.
Mook can also refer to a nameless, non-descript goon in a game or movie who is generally defeated or killed by the heroes without inciting much audience concern.
There are two enemies in the SNES video game EarthBound called "Lesser Mook" and "Mook Senior," probably because of the aforementioned meanings.
Mooks in the game City of Villains is a gang that is currently at war with The Family. The mooks are headed by gang Leader Guido "The Mook" Verrandi, the former advisor to Emil Marcone's (the leader of The Family) father, Manuel Marcone.
Mook is a famous Pittsburgh Pennsylvania graffito.
Mook is another slang word for Milk. (Origins: Havertown, PA)
Mook is the pen name of the author of an anti-Toronto Maple Leaf newsletter with a cult following across Canada called "The Bluezletter".[5]
"Mook" is a term used to describe 'artsy'/ bad films or works of art.
Mook is a custom city used in many player made Ultima Online shard worlds.
"Mook" is a term used in marketing to describe a group of young people (mostly teenagers) that is targeted for the marketing of "cool." The "Mook" describes a male that is driven and controlled by a form of "cool" that is exemplified by Tom Green, the MTV show Jackass, and other forms of sophomoric, reality-show humour.
Mook is the name of a creative digital consultancy based in London, UK.
The Mook are a playable character race in the later installments of the Wizardry series of computer RPGs. They are a large, strong, intelligent space-faring species, somewhat reminicent of wookies in the Star Wars franchise.

from Wikipedia. What do YOU mean by it? The Tom Green kind?

Hmmm, I guess I must like Tom Green because I'm a 24 year old American male. All I have to say is that video is one of the most perfectly executed parodies I've ever seen. There is not one moment of it that's not priceless in it's abilitiy to make me laugh. Sorry. Lighten up.

p.s. I do agree that most Saturday Night Live stuff is rubbish (thanks British people!) and that Timberlake is kind of a tool, but that shit is amazing. My 2 cents.

Hey Matt, no offense. Didn't mean to be such a curmudgeon. I was 24 once too but we were stoned back then...

This is the first time I have actually even seen timberlake, and he makes me laugh too, prolly for different reasons!

Peace, Bro!

No offense taken. If you don't find it funny, that's cool. I don't find alot of things funny... Dane Cook for example. But every single frame of that video is flawless IMO, although I can't really figure out what the CMA's reference is all about. Apples and oranges I guess.

p.s. I quit smoking weed three years ago
