talkback on Shadow Hills Equinox

I'm confused... could someone explain how this feature works on the Equinox? Where is the talkback routed?

There are four sets of stereo outputs available on the Equinox via a D25 connector. Three of the stereo outputs are for moniter outputs (A,B,C). The fourth stereo outputs are for routing to a headphone monitoring system. The talkback signal (a toggle switch on the front Equinox panel turns on the built in talkback mic) is sent through the headphone stereo ouputs in addition to whatever you currently have selected on the Equinox for monitoring purposes.
