| V72 for Electric Guitar ?? I am after a tube pre to add a different flavor to my current gear. I've read great things about the Fearn VT1 but i am after a 'Classic' colored sound. I've narrowed my search to the VT1 and a V72. I would be mostly using it to track electric guitars (LOUD Marshall Plexi rock type of sound). Are they any good for that ? I use a 57 and/or a 421 to record. |

| This is a bit off topic, but on piano, a v72 using a sm57 sounds really awesome. Like Charlie Brown meets Fatboy Slim on my piano. Peace, -soupking |
