Thread Starter | DI electric guitar needs acoustic treatment? Currently I'm recording DI into my computer and using amp simulation to record. I play my electric guitar in an untreated room and I use headphones to monitor. Would my guitar sound better if I played it in a treated room? I'm not sure if pickups pick up any eroneous frequency in the room... Thanks |

| No, it won't make any difference. The only part of your environment to have any impact on the sound of guitar pickups is interference from other electrical sources. |
