Thread Starter | Mics banging over the Atlantic I thought I'd share my recent experience, and see if anyone else has experienced the same. 5 weeks ago I ordered a pair of Beyer MC930s. They had to be special ordered from Germany. I received them last Friday, and eagerly opened up the sealed case to find the mics out of their saddles, and resting against each other. Damnnation! I don't think they packed them properly. I find it hard to believe that the mics could possibly come loose from their foam cut-outs. Upon close inspection I found dings and scrapes all over the casings -- yes, even next to the capsule. So, back they go -- and I'll get to wait around for the next pair FWIW, they do sound damn nice! - Jim |
