Thread Starter | Midi interfaces / control surfaces
Howdy, I'm looking into getting a Mackie Universal Control -- It seems pretty damn good for the money based on reviews that i've read as well as lots of encouraging comments by Gearsluts here. However, I was recently warned that I should get a MIDI interface for my Mac that uses MTS (Midi-Time-Stamping). Is this necessary? Or is this just a salesman trying to get me to drop more $$$ ?? What does MTS really do for me in general and does it help me when using a Midi-based control surface? thanks, -dave |
