Equation Audio headphones?

Anyone have any opinions on these guys yet?
I am looking for some new headphones and came
across these guys. It says they are good for tracking, mixing,
and they're "Non-fatiguing". The RP-20's are around $100
which is in my budget, barely.

here's a link to their site

Yeah, I have a few pairs of RP-20's (in addition to some Sony MDR-7506's, Sennheiser HD-280's and some Isophones). They all work fine and sound completely different from each other. I do notice that I have been using the RP-20's more lately though... I dunno if it is because they are more comfortable or just closer to me at the time.

How would you describe their sound? Do they have a pretty neutral response or are they
exaggerated in any frequencies? I was also interested in the HD280's so I would be curious as to how they compare to each other.

Honestly I don't know how to answer that question in words. I don't use headphones to make any kind of critical listening judgements, I just slap 'em on when doing vocals (or some other overdub when I shut off the monitors) and use 'em to monitor performance. The source sounds way different on them than on my ADAM S-3A's (but then again, so do my 7506's and HD-280's). I think they're worth giving a shot... like I said I've been gravitating towards them because they're more comfortable on my head for some reason. Best to ya, sorry I couldn't be of much more help.

no worries, I appreciate the response.

I ordered the HD280's yesterday.
They're not for making critical desicions, just
wanted something that sounded good and
accurate to reference on as an option.

Personally, I love albums that take on a
new life when you're listening on headphones
so I want to mix like that also.
