| Safe Sound Audio P1 The Safe Sound Audio P1 audio processor is now available in the USA, Canada and Mexico from Front End Audio . The P1 is a preamp/DI/line level expander/compressor/limiter/mixer-headphone amp designed and built in the UK by Robert Campbell, who has worked for Neve and Calrec. This unit is not a Neve clone. The unit features Burr Brown's latest INA217 chip and a very smooth multiple side chained compressor. The expander is surprisingly useful and basically invisible. The limiter works in a look ahead manner without the use of delay, so latency is not an issue. The monitor section allows you or the artist to blend the signal within a stereo monitor mix and adjust volume on the built in headphone amp. Line level input also allows for use during mixdown. If you like reading, check out the White Paper for details. There are reviews and other info on both the Safe Sound and Front End Audio sites. More reviews are in the works, and will be published soon. Warren Dent www.frontendaudio.com

| Warren-- You've earned a lot of respect from me over the year or so I've known you and I wish you the best on this new venture. Steve www.mojopie.com P.S. The P1 is a nice musical unit. I'm already looking forward to future Safe Sound products. :) |

| Hey.. I bought one of these months ago in the hope of pimping them out here.. They are VERY good and i kinda rekon the compressor has a bit of that SSL 'squish' factor which is kinda OK by me as i LOVE the AL Smart. Very handy and not too expensive.. And Robert is a GREAT guy to deal with and is courteous and very helpful in all avenues of enquiry. They are SERIOUSLY engineered pieces of kit and the expander workd ace on snares as well. Check em out.. Wiggy
