Thread Starter | Records with the Diezel Herbert?
Does anyone know any records that were made with the Herbert? I've been playing one over at a music store and it sounds so evil. I'm diggin' it. Has anyone used it?

love the diezel.....savin for one...I dont know the versions very well. Did overdubs with them but the songs arent really posted on the net anywhere. Used the VH4. The diezel+bogner=tone heaven for a metal head. |

When I saw Three Days Grace in June (?) the guitarist had about 4 Diezel Herberts. Great sound! Don't know if he used them on the album though.

last two MUSE records, pretty sure there are diezel tones all over(TSP & Hysteria), though, the first two albums are so much better all around, but definetly fewer deizel moments than the newer records... the amps are amazing, so much crunch and so much DEPTH!!!!!! - allot of green for allot of mean tho they scream in a good live setting too |

I once did a session for a band where I used a Diezel Herbert, a VHT Pitbull and a Line 6 Vetta II all at the same time, split with a Voodoo Labs Amp Selector. My whole studio was shaking, it was ridiculous....haha. The Herbert was a hell of an amp, no doubt, but I can tell you that the Diezel Herbert (DeitysSon) model on the Vetta II is VERY close. Just out of curiosity, I set them both up with comparable settings, and even with different cabinets, it was quite shocking. |

Billy Corigan has been using them live. Not sure about in the studio. If I were every to buy a "heavy" amp... this would be it.
