Another Shout Out for Glenn and GIK Acoustics...

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to plug Glenn over at GIK acoustics... the guy has been outstanding over the course of the last several months as I struggled to get my sh*t together ... constantly having phone conversations with me and offering advice that always put my needs first and his bottom line second.

I've got 9 242 panels, 6 244 panels, and a couple of those big tri-traps on their way to me, and I couldn't be happier. I'll let everyone know how it all works in my room once they get here, but regardless of that, I wanted everybody to know that Glenn is just plain good people, and GIK can certainly be trusted!

Thanks Matt for the outstanding plug. Please let me know how the recording goes. I want to be the first one to buy a CD.

Glenn

Yes, Glenn is great and a great product
I have the 244s and 242s and even some of the early panels (2'x2').

Quick question related to the panels. . .can you have too much bass trapping in the corners? I have the 244s up about half way on the walls and had some extra 244s, so I just stuck them in front of the hanging ones resting on the floor and leaning against the hanging ones.

Yes Glenn Glenn is the MAN!

I have 8 244's in the space. gettem while you can, I dont see how he makes a profit on them at these prices. I have spoke with him on the phone at least a dozen times, and hes not sick of people, by far.

I dont own any of Ethans products, but both of them have been uber standup with spending time helping people on the forums.

75 thumbs up to both!!!

Sure in theory you could have to much bass trapping, but it would take A LOT.. Talking A LOT.. Sounds like you are not even close to that number, so yes I would put them in the corners if you can.

Ethan who???????
I have to say I have talked to Ethan on the phone a few times and he really is a nice guy also. It is a real pleasure to be in a line of work that MOST (note: i did not say all) of the companies get along.
