Film Score Percusion im trying to find film score percusion samples that sound great. you know, the big action sequences that have timpani and other big percusion. ill like to have multi track loops to create diferent patterns. or a way to sequence them but i cant seem to do it to make sound pro. still sounds sequenced. any ideas?

Stormdrum! http://www.soundsonline.com/Quantum-...pr-EW-162.html But most orchestral libraries (EW Symphonic Orchestral, etc) come with a comprehensive percusion set.

Stormdrum has its uses, but I find myself avoiding it more and more these days - the 'built-in' reverb can be a pain in the ass to blend with other sources and many of the loops are so heavily weighted to the central pan position that it makes using them with dialouge in a film / programme a bit tricky. Also the sample editing on quite a few of the single shot things (prepared piano springs to mind) is so shoddy - pops, clicks, reverb trims that just cut off mid tail - that you sometimes wonder if they have a team of chimps operating Pro Tools... It's gorgeous ear candy and a quick-fix for some problems, but hard to call a serious tool, in my experience.
