| Gear addict | Corner Bass traps from cupboards Hi all-been fitting out my control room -long last-and corner bass traps were a problem, so I bought corner pine cupboards, very deep and high, drilled back walls and top with holes (Altons specs) lined, stuffed with rock wool, lined front with black quilted fabric, lined with cedar strips. It has sucked huge amounts of glass, and is pretty heavy, but should do a real good job in corners. It is pretty cheap and easy to build, so I posted shots which may help some? Anyway, one is in unfinished control room, other is in tracking room, shows rear holes. Tracking room is a pigsty-all gear in while control room fitout takes place. Will see self built kyline diffusors which I will be placing on rear wall of control room. Hope the pics may provide someone with some ideas. Cheers GJ Newcastle/OZ |

| Not bad. Not for everyone but I'm sure they're very effective. Bryan
