hot to get a nice sounding recording room out of this

Here are two pictures of the new room i am going to rent:

http://www.art-olive.com/room_photos/X17-1.jpg

http://www.art-olive.com/room_photos/X17-2.jpg

Its size is 18 square meters. There is carpet on all of the walls and on the ground.
Its height is about 3 meters, i think.

Now I need some advices, what I have to do to turn this into a nice sounding recording place. (I know that it never wont sound like a treated big studio room, but I want to get the best out of it).

I want to use it for drum recordings, guitar amp recording and reamping, vocal recordings (with gobos, is there a DIY how to build them?),and band live recordings with small rockbands.

Thank you
Aljoscha from Cologne

Are you going to have the control room in another room?

Gobos will be easy to build and can help your isolation

but first..... i would change or add some colors

That looks like a padded room.... after 10 minutes i would go crazy in there

is that a big piece of cheese on the table ?

looking at your avatar makes me think you have already spent some time in this room
