how could i run a toft atb 24 with ptle?

i am considering many options for my next upgrade and i am looking at the toft atb 24 to run with my 002/mytek stereo 96 adc.

if i had a toft with the digital i/o card, how can i run it with my current setup?

i have never tried to use a console with my 002 so forgive my stupidity in the matter.

You Mytek connects to the Digi 002 via S/PDIF, right?

So clock the Toft from the Mytek and take the Toft in thru the ADAT Toslink connection.

ADAT is eight channel capable, I don't know what the routing is with the Toft, but I'd assume you can either route busses or channels to ADAT outputs.

does that make sense?

yes that makes sense.

yea i am wondering about routing the tofts channels to adat output to get it into ptle. i wonder how that would work.

how would i go about using the toft for summing out of ptle?

Yes, do what Max says. Set the inputs, on you're 002, to spdif to record from the toft.
When you want to sum through the toft, set the track outputs of the 002 to spdif.
Now here's a question for monitoring. Are you monitors connected to the 002 or are they connected to the 002?
