| Lives for gear | Chemical Romance drums Hey, Just got the Chemical Romance album and it has the CLA sound thats for sure... Anyway, I read in the notes that it was recorded at Eldorado. This is of course the studio BFD was recorded in and, being a long time BFD user, I can actually hear the room....I have become so used to the sound of the room:-) Its funny, I wonder if CLA used BFD samples to replace the drums.....oh the irony. | I'm sure chris used his own samples, he has enough of by now. Especially on kick and snare, but than again you can only do so much with sound replacement, a lot of it has to do with the OH's and room mic's that's where you get a lot of your sound from the drums anyway. |
