I have been debating over a Pacifica or Chandler TG2 for micing up a Senn. 421 + SM57 on some old Fender amps. Everyone raves about the TG2 for this application, so I'm looking forward to your comparisons when you get yours back. Thanks for taking the time to do these little shootouts--

I listened to these clips about a 100 times in my car tonight and all the pres sounded different but these mp3's on my computer sound more similiar. I guess that's life. All the pres were just turned up to level, the Germanium had the level on about 11am and the feedback on about 1pm with no fat switch.

Enjoy!
Hey.
I just ordered the Pacifica and I was wondering if you had those clips of it or any new advisement since the post was a few years old.
Thanks!

for the records I make, it would be the Germanium. It adds this... this... fu$&ing AAAGH gorgeous grindy oomph to electric guitar that nothing else does. It's colored and I like that.

Yup.

Dirty. In a very good way.
