Hard rock/screamo guitar tones

It seems like everyday there are a dozen posts regarding "how to record mega guitars" "why do my electric guitars suck" or "how to mix electric rock guitars" (i myself have posted 200 of these) but I'm not sure I've ever seen someone who's gotten kick-ass tones post their tracks to help us guys out.

Perhaps some of yous who have gotten what you consider to be good hard rock/rock/screamo/whatever tones would be kind enough to share 'em. I'm sure something like a 45-second .wav of the guitar tracks soloed and then another short clip of the whole mix would be incredibly helpful to me and a lotta other guys. If you need a server, I could host the files.

So would any kind gearslutz like to contribute to this? May karma come to those who do

I think it would be cool to have an archive of sounds that could be used to compare when getting rough tones. Sometimes perspective needs a little kick in the ass.

you can only compare if you know how the rest of the instruments will sound like..

this wouldnt make any sense.

Someone gave you ears;) I'm on my second pair right now

Here's a link to my band's myspace page www.myspace.com/lockjawlive which has songs I recorded and mixed at my home studio. The guitar tone is from a generic Marshall Valvestate runing through a Bogner cab. Mic'd with a Royer 121, Great River MP-1NV Pre, Purple Audio MC77 compressor, Lavry Blue A/D converter and into my Digi002 SPDIF. I tracked 4 guitar tracks per song, 2 panned hard left and right and 2 panned about 89% left and right. The Royer was up against the cab's mesh grill centered with the outside rim of the speaker's dust cap. I know it's not the best guitar tone in the world but I'm not ashamed of it.
