pedalboard power for up to 10 pedals?

I'm putting a pedalboard together so's not to piss my bass player off with endless assembling-disassembling of my "rig"

So what power thingines will allow me to run up to 10 pedals, with maybe 1 power-hungry digital box?

Find the current draw of the whole lot. (Either read the manuals, or connect them all to a battery and measure it). Then, you know what size PSU you need. You can buy commercial off-the shelve power supplies. The "laboratory" style ones are expensive, but very low noise and worth it. Or, use a large rechargable battery for ultimate silent power. It can be amazing how much AC hum and shit arrives via a PSU that is connected to a dirty mains.

Be prepared to wire up your own, or pay someone to do it. Try to avoid cheap transformer packs - they can radiate hum for miles. A modern switching PSU, as used with computer peripherals, might be a better bet. The cabling is the easy part - anyone can solder up the plugs you need.
