| Did PTs ever use ANALOG DB25 Connectors? Along with the JH24 I recently aquired I got some Tuchel to DB25 harnesses. That'd be analog. At first I though "Cool, these will hook up to the TDIF connectors on my MOTU 2408 mkIIs"... well,, uhhhh, no, not exactly! The guy who had the deck before me said he interfaced the deck into his Pro Tools rig with these cables. He also had a bunch of DA88s. Did older ProTools have ANALOG DB25 ins and outs? I have seen plenty of pieces of gear that use analog DB25 conectors, but PT? Anyone need these? Danny Brown |

| Gear addict | If he was using apogee convertors (AD16X, DA16X), he would have had those DB25 connectors to XLR's

| The guy must have had PT 192Khz units then. I am certian that he didn't have Apogees. There were periods where I didn't go to his studio (my old room actually.) Oh well.... I got 'em! They are well made. I guess I'll find a use for them. Danny Brown |

| The Pro Control & Control 24 also used DB25s so even someone with an old non TDM HD rig may have used these to hook up a control surface at some point.
