OK... I guess my question is which would you like first... the snide answer or the serious answer?

The snide answer [which will only work if you know the theme from the "Mickey Mouse" club] is: R-M-E D-A-C waysta M-O-N-E-Y

The less snide answer would be if you're using the L2 for your main A/D conversion, or frankly the L2 at all... then you probably don't want to hear a real D/A because it will probably cause you to get a real A/D converter and drop that L2 piece of shit on eBay...

The Apogee 'Mini-DAC', the Benchmark DAC-1, some Lavry converters, a Crane Song HEDD-192... and I'm sure a bunch of others I didn't think off the top of my head will be far superior in terms of depth, dimension of the soundfield as well as clarity and overall musical nature of the audio.

Best of luck with your search
