Thread Starter | Mic my drum kit ok... I know, you don't know what the kit sounds like..... I don't either. Just in general i guess. With the mics listed and the pres available how would you mic a kit. Lets say a standard kit with 2 rack toms and a floor, snare and kick. Metal/Alt Rock type music Mics available: matched pair of Rode NT 5s Rode K2 tube mic AT4050 AKG C4000B MXL 603s Matched Pair Audix D6 (5)Sm57 Sennheiser e609 Sennheiser 421 Beyer M88 Audio Technica ATM25 Audio Technica ATM23HE Shure SM58 Pres available: 2ch of API 312s 8ch of Sytek (4ch BB /4 standard) 8ch of focusrite octopres thanks everyone for your input and opinions |
