recommendations for second-hand gear

Long time lurker, first time poster, etc etc.

I was wondering if anyone has any suggested websites for finding second hand equipment beyond ebay? I realize I may be asking people to give up their favorite fishing hole with such a request, but I'm assuming there aren't too many hidden treasures left on the web anymore. Not necessary looking for undiscovered gems, just some other options.

Thanks much
cp

Heh . Guess I should look around here more, no?

Okay, so beyond ebay AND gearslutz, where would you recommend looking?

crispy, what do you mean by "gear"? Drum machines? Consoles? Mandolins?

Sorry...I was mostly thinking of things for the studio (rack gear, monitors, mics, etc.....recognizing that just about *anything* could be for the studio).

I've found the various gear forums to be a great source. I hardly deal with Ebay anymore.

Check out the Classifieds here and at Tape Op for starters.

Also the used gear section of http://www.roguemusic.com

You also might wanna check vintageking.com. They carry some used stuff as well and you also get a warranty. Picked up my Urei LA-4 from them, they were great!
