I'm ruined.

I hate to say it but, I now admit that I can't hear Bob Dylans "knocking on heavens door" without going:
"knock, knock, knocking on heavens doouwhaa, Hay!..... Hay! Hay! Hay!"

That's too funny, I can't get "Live and let Diiiiii-eerrrrrr" out of my head either!

Was his mom Katherine Hepburn?

"Oh Slash, you old poop!"

Ok, so how did your wallet end up this empty? What's your thoughts about what has happened to you?

I'm really ashamed of myself. Because I have allways loved Bob Dylan since childhood and I'm proud to say that I was never a GnR fan. I would go as far as saying they suck F'n goat balls. And this is anther reason why. tutt

This took me by surprise...good thing I wasn't mid-sip on my coffee.

To the original poster, I sympathize and applaud your honesty.

Following your lead, here's my story: Years ago, I had a close friend who got really into the James Gang. I like Joe Walsh plenty so I enjoyed them just fine but my appreciation for them paled in comparison to his crazy-love. One day he puts on 'Funk#49' and it strikes me that it kinda sounds like 'Footloose' (Kenny Loggins) so I started singing Footloose over top of it (just the chorus, don't know the rest of it and likely doesn't fit anyway).

He was annoyed, I was amused, and a pattern was set in motion that, after many years of 'Footloosing' over Funk#49, has me unable to hear the song without the dreaded Footloose chorus in my head.

Still love Funk#48 though!

Dude! Hall and Oates and Micheal McDonald both blow GnR out of the water and to my knowledge have never ruined a classic song. There is nothing weird about that.
