Help me identify some rigid insulation

I came across a large surplus of 1" rigid insulation with no identifying marks. They're 4x8 sheets with a black paper (like tar paper w/o the tar) bonded to each side.

Do they sound familiar to anyone and do you think they'd be useful for DIY traps? Yeah, I know I can either build one and try it or stick with what I know works. However, I do have this large pallet load and would hate to see it go to waste.

I found that stuff works great! Beware that the word "acoustical" only means it was tested to some spec. and you will always pay dearly for those tests.

This isn't particularly important for studios because what we generally want is really dense insulation with some kind of perforated facing to bring the mids and highs back up..

Maybe polyisocyanurate. Aka polysio or PIR.
