Are Guitar Centers open day after Thanksgiving

I have some spare cash and need gear!!! Does anyone know if Guitar Center in New Orleans is open tomorrow and having specials? If so what time will they open? I tried the Guitar Center web site but it doesn't say anything about any specials or opening times for Day after Thanksgiving. Thanks, Don

Why wouldn't they be open? It's "the biggest shopping day of the year" right? Are they normally closed Fridays?

I wasn't thinking when I asked such a stupid question. To repharse: Is the Guitar Center in New Orleans going to open up eariler than it's usual opening time of eleven o'clock? Will they be running any specials due to the Day after Thanksgiging buying frenzies? Thanks, Don

need gear

I am sure that if you call them up and explain that you "need gear" they would open early. Just tell them that you are a registered Gearslut and you have a medical condition. They will check with their legal department and realize that if they don't accomodate you and you go into a coma or something, they could be sued.

Ok. Gotcha.

The day after Christmas is another day when I try to avoid all stores at all costs. Two years ago my parents got me a PS2 for X-mas but no games so I was forced out into the wilds of northern NJ to buy a couple. I'll tell you, it was damn scary.

I usually try to stay out of malls and stores all the time. I do try to hit the music stores a few days after christmas. I've gotten some cool stuff that got traded in by kids who were playing with dad's old whatever and got either the newest latest toy, or enough money that in conjunction with trading they could get the newest thing. Gret time for old fuzz boxes and the like.
