| cheap spdif to adat converter I need to buy a really cheap spdif to adat converter so I can play my cd player spdif out through my apogee 16x's... what's out there? |

| i dont think the c02 is the right piece. My cd player has a spdif out, and my apogee's have an adat in. |

| yeah, I looked at that thread and a bunch of others. The ai4, zsys, etc... They are all $400, $600 etc. They have way more features than I need for a cd player. I might as well buy a new cd player for $400... I want something that will solely go from stereo spdif to stereo adat, not really any more bells and whistles |

|  Found this one the other day. http://www.hosatech.com/hosa/products/odl-276.html  Perhaps not what you are looking for because it does not seem to be compatible with Alesis ADAT, just converts coax spdif to toslink spdif?
