cheap spdif to adat converter

I need to buy a really cheap spdif to adat converter so I can play my cd player spdif out through my apogee 16x's... what's out there?

i dont think the c02 is the right piece. My cd player has a spdif out, and my apogee's have an adat in.

yeah, I looked at that thread and a bunch of others. The ai4, zsys, etc...

They are all $400, $600 etc. They have way more features than I need for a cd player.

I might as well buy a new cd player for $400...

I want something that will solely go from stereo spdif to stereo adat, not really any more bells and whistles

Looks like you can route the SPDIF coaxial to ADAT.

Perhaps not what you are looking for because it does not seem to be
compatible with Alesis ADAT, just converts coax spdif to toslink spdif?
