I only really need a board that has line ins (From outboard pre), faders, and line outs. I really don't need it to have mic pres or busses (including stereo). Does this exist?

| What you really want, then, is a stack of line level attenuators.... -tINY |

That is it, but I want it in a desk format or a rackmount format. I was looking at getting a bunch of Atty's, but that seems so inelegant. |

I belive that Allen and Heath make something like this. My friend in Hollywood has one. It is a 16 x 2 and I don't believe that it has mic pres. It is a flat console and EQ, auxes and LED metering. Danny Brown |

Holy CRAP!!! Max, that is it. If there was something of that quality, without any auxes or buses I would be totally stoked. I really just want to be able to use my preamps that have stepped atenuators with my DAW and ride stuff on the way in. Maybe 16 ch. Thanks for all the great posts. |
