| Need a place to post some short Shinybox samples... Someone give me a place to post some short Shinybox samples and I'll do it later on, for those that have interest in this kind of thing. Most likely will be a clean, then semi clean and then dirty dual recto into Shinybox into BAE 312a... maybe three 1 minute samples. I cant promise anything by way of quality, but I'll try my best to get a good represenation of what the mic does or doesnt do.... Nice clean path in, 24 bit, and high resolution bounce down.

| I'd love to hear your guitar clips. I auditioned the Shinybox ribbon at the AES Convention this weekend and thought it sounded really, really good. Vocals only, however, and I would be very curious to hear it on guitar. Post away I say! Best Regards, Mike. |

| Didnt know I could attach them here, cool stuff. It'll be several hours. I'm going to restring the guitar, get it tuned, take a shower and other bodily neccesities, ride over with the mic and fidget with the setup for a bit, and then attempt to retrack some guitars over an existing drum track. Its 9:30 pm here, it'll probably be 3am.

| Consider adding another clip with a 57, just for a frame of reference. And put the guitar in the mix, not solo'd. Without a frame of reference, clips are meaningless. I'd do it myself, but I've got a week full of deadlines, and I'm a horrible guitar player. |

| I did it, and its in the "low end theory" forum. I have no opinion on how it turned out other than being quite sure you guys will hate it on your particular systems. I did post it in a "mix" if you want to call it that, but no comparison 57 on it. My whole experiment was quick and badly planned. Enjoy. Or not.
