Thread Starter | Buy UA 4110 or build a rack of Seventh Circle?
So the 4110 is supposed to have some great flexibility with its different modes as far as "additive color". And I love most UA stuff and a couple of my favorite albums the drums were done with the 4110 pres. However I've been seriously thinking of building a rack full of seventh circle pres (the n72 neveish type ones and the A12 api types) Not counting price or build time...Which do you think would rock more? and be more flexible all around? I know, apples to oranges...but i feel like spending some money tonight |

check out www.eisenaudio.com at last:D DIY 500 kits. I miss the metering on the SCA's and the rack is just for SCA-pres. I like the flexibility of API500 racks. sorry, cant comment the UA stuff cheers George

I've heard UA has great customer support and atleast they are taking care of a possible problem before it even becomes one.... That said, i'm a gear*****, I'l probably end up with a 4110 and a rack of seventh circle anyways. Guess i'l go build pair of A12 and N72s to keep me being a gearslut for now |

Yeah, it's interesting that there's not more talk of the 4110/8110 around here...I don't recall hearing anything bad about them, just not hearing much at all. They're very similar in concept to the Shadow Hills Gama preamps with the various colors, just haven't heard a whole lot about the execution. -Duardo |

I spend so many hours in my studio since i got them ! So versatile. I recorded voices, drums, strings & strings & guess what ? I ended by buying a 2nd 4110 unit ! Carnaval Dunno why but i feel younger Go Go Go ! |

Hi Guys, 4110s are shipping again (obviously thermal is less of a concern with the 4-channel unit) and that 8110s will start rolling out next month, but there's a few people in line waiting. Thanks for your patience, and we're glad those of you who have the units are enjoying them so much. |

The market is taking off in this pro audio sector. I would love to have a UA110 channel in my luchbox. Being able to change the color at the flick of a switch makes the 110 very useful. Just like the Shadow Hills Mono Gama! Wassup UA!!!

For those who tried or own the 4110, do you think not having the DI with the 8110 would suck? I mean, is the DI so good that you'd get 2 4110 instead of one 8110? |

Yea whats up? I want one too. I don't need a 4110 or 8110. Just one or two at the most.

| BUt.....
wouldn't it be so cool if UA would make a 500 series module of the 4110 or 8110??? They would sell alot more. Not everyone on the block wants to drop $3000-4000 grand on some UA pres. |
