Help needed with stereo pre purchase/ studio upgrades

Thanks for taking the time guys. I really appreciate it

The bottom line is that I've got about 1500.00 USD left to spend on my setup before I proceed in recording my own record, and finishing projects for several other people. I've improved the acoustics of my space already, and I mix my projects at larger studios running PTHD. With that in mind, what would you purchase if you were me?

A stereo pre would make the most sense to me since I currently have two less pres than I have converters. However, I've also thought about upgrading my converters, monitors and/or trading or selling some things to upgrade these areas. Obviously I'm limited right now with converter channels but I generally track one instrument at a time, or drums with only one guide instrument. I use minimal compression and EQ while tracking, since frankly, I don't know how to use them very well. Instead, I try to make stuff sound good by moving mics around, etc.

On major thing I can't get a consensus on is whether upgrading to Apogee or other converters would make more of a difference than more good pres would, or better monitors would, etc.

Here's my current setup...

Pres:

Great River ME1
Avalon 737
Bellari RP200
Fireface 800 (4 pres)

compressors:

Distressor
FMR RNC (2)

mics:

Pearlman TM 1
AKG 414XLS
Shure KSM 32 (2)
Shure SM 81 (2)
Shure SM 7
AKG D112
SM 57 (4)
Sm 58 (2)

DAW:

DP 5.1
Logic Pro 7

computer/interface:

Intel Mac
with Fireface 800

monitors:

Mackie 824s
Sennheiser HD 350 cans

cables:
Mogami, planet waves

Thanks!!!
