Thread Starter | just got back... Just got home from the SF AES. Very cool. The Gearslutz lounge was rockin'. Got to meet Jules, James Lugo, Michael Wagener (very briefly in front of the Abby Road booth) and Gregg Sartiano (Gearslut member). Lot's of cool stuff. Jon Ulrigg of Shinybox let me demo his prototype 500 series preamps with one of his ribbons and it sounded sweeeet. Warren Dent showed me a very cool Safe Sound Audio Swiss Army type device with some amazing features. PRS guitars had an amazing dragon double neck on display. The Adam S3A's sure sound good. Man, I was like a kid in a candy store.... Sorry I can't be at the dinner. Gotta be home with my 10 month old daughter. Have a beer for me fellas! Edit: Forgot to add that I got to speak to Dan Lavry for about 20 minutes (good luck with that accordion Dan), Dan Kennedy (to tell how much I love his preamps - Thanks for giving me the answer to the "Drummer Test" Dan!), and forgot to thank Warren for the toothbrush (thanks Warren!).
