Sweetwater has competitive prices, plus, they give lifetime tech support. They have saved my butt a few times (for free!) where digi would have charged me $2/minute I think it is (after the 90 days expires).

BTW - love the Stone Roses debut album. Wow, I need to go listen to it now.

bye!

WLA $375

IMO, the TL Convolution Verb and extra plugs are worth the price alone. Not having to think about track count is a comfortable feeling.

I wish I was so lucky. Now that all my clients know I have 48 tracks, they use more, I run out, have to submix, and then still want more. AAAARRRGGGGHHHH!

Hi BOB!

Don't worry about being happy with this one.
TL Space alone is worth it. I did an upgrade and got it for the $150 special w/upgrade. I was worried because I lost my Altiverb in the upgrade process and did not have the bones to upgrade it. No sweat! Between TL Space and the WAVES stuff I have I don't miss Altiverb at all. Niether does my processor.

And.....
SMACK is way cool.
Hybrid is a blast.
Multi track beatdetective......seems like a good thing (I haven't used it yet. I track to a click.)

In fact, the 48 track count thing was the least of the reasons why I bought in.
I rarely break 24.

You'll enjoy! Good luck.

Oh! And don't put it pas GC to hook you up on a good price.
If you know the right people there, they can't be beat on price.
Service? Well, that is another story. They could work on that a little.

Sometimes Paul (dutchmuzik on ebay) breaks down the MPT and sells its components separately. You can get the 48 tracks, mp3 option & multitrack detective for about 199-229$...
Just to let ya know...

Cheers,

Cheers,

This is exactly all I need...The 48 tracks and MP3 option...Does this guy include it with an Ilok? I didnt think you were able to seperate out the entire music production toolkit...Is it still the same with authorization and everything?

Well, from what I understand, the MPT is actually multiple Ilok authorisations. So one for the above-mentioned and individual ones for the each plugs.
So you do need a Ilok and what you buy from Dutch is actually the authorisation, dowloaded to your Ilok account. Here is an auction I missed on the 'bay:

Good luck,

That price is really nice.
I'm trying to find somebody that will sell to me a Music Production Toolkit via email (just registration codes for obtaining iLok licenses). Any ideas?
