| OTARI STATUS PROBLEM
Hello There
My Otari Status 18R mixing desk ( with dynamics , no auto faders ) has some problems wich i have been trying to solve for a long , long time ....
It has "audio dropouts" on most of my aux-sends , and also on the main "L/R
path"....i can solve them most of the time by pushing my audio very hard thru their respective paths , and sometimes by fiddeling around with my hands in the neighbourhood of the flat-cable connectors , but it keeps coming beack..
I replaced a lot of the"suspect"flat-cables , but it then pretends to work for a wile , just to laugh in my face a bit later ( at the most critical moment ofcourse )
Aaarghh?? anybody,s advise would be more than welcome --THNXallready and Greetz --Daan --Studio Stilteloos --Amsterdam
