Question Help connecting Hedd 192, Digi Sync I/O and Digi 192 I/O

Hello:

Anybody has anny suggestions to connect this setup?

Hedd 192, Digi Sync I/O and Digi 192 I/O Avocet
Running ProTools 6.9 on Mac

I'd like to know haw to make the best out of my system

the larger problem is that you seem to have spent several thousand dollars on digital audio equipment and don't know how to use any of it.

Okay, the first thing I would do is to loop sync all of the digi gear and connect the cards to your core card. I hope you know how to do this. It should be fully explained in the manual.

To connect the Hedd 192 you will need to connect the AES connections and the clock. I know clock information is imbedded in the AES signal, but because of the loop sync thing I would run a separate word clock cable. So run from the Hedd word clock out a BNC (to BNC) cable to the sync word clock in. Set the clock on the sync box to read external clock. This will make your Hedd 192 the master clock. I would do this because it's a better clock.

Connect some AES cables between the 192 and the Hedd and you should be all set other than some software setup.
