right question: best or most affordable?

if you have a lot of outboard pres and need a quel'que'chose differente a jouter then go cheap with the made in China $699.00

and add 2-4 of these for the price of one of the other clone high-end models by other mfgs

also look at the gt vipre, not cheap but two of these will make your recordings very je ne sais quoi above the rest esp if you have a lot of diff mics that suck that you want to resuscitate back to life

i wish threads like this would get locked with a link to the other thread(s) that refer to this topic so we could keep these sorts of discussions in one place. regardless, i dunno how someone could figure out how to record music but be clueless as to which keywords to search for this topic.
