Smaller Firewire interface?

Ideally im trying to find a real solid just 2 in 2 out firewire interface. Presonus has the inspire but i really cant hang with using the RCA/Phone combo on that thing. Want good high quality but damn it i just dont need 8 ins and 8 outs. Can someone make a suggestion?

Firebox ain't too big. Although in terms of portability, I find the serated edging requires a little more care in transportation than I'd like. Can't just throw it in the laptop bag with aplomb.

Does Echo generally have higher rated A/D convertors than presonus? Which one would you guys roll with?

I also use the Firebox with my laptop. Great for those in-the-field recordings.

echo has a new one called the AudioFire2

its $200, incredibly small

2 in, 2 out, plus the headphone out is independent and can act as outs 3/4
so technically, with spdif i/o its 4 in/6 out.
bus powered on 6 pin firewire ports.
